Travis is a five time finalist and 2016 winner of WildClaw Theatre’s Deathscribe - The International Festival of Horror Radio Plays, with his plays The Wall, Strange Weather, Back in Baby's Arms, The Quake (2016  Winner), and Creatures of Circumstance. His play Chicago Collage was a winning script at Fire-Works: Gun Control Short Play Competition, through Manhattan Theatre Works. His commissioned piece: Circle Be Unbroken inspired by Mavis Staples, premiered in Theatre Seven of Chicago production Unwilling and Hostile Instruments… Travis was accepted into A Red Orchid Theatre’s Incubator Series where his play To Each Their Own received a workshop and staged reading.

Travis is the Top 3 winner of Killer Shorts Horror Screenplay Competition with his screenplay Fish Special. His horror feature screenplay, Those Led to Slaughter, was a semifinalist script in Screamfest & Stage-32 Search for New Blood Screenwriting Contest. His horror short screenplay Creatures of Circumstance is also a Killer Shorts semifinalist.

Travis has been published in the horror anthology Tales from the Akermansion with American Gothic Press and Famous Monsters Magazine, with his comic Unraveled with artist Jonathan La Mantia.

Travis has appeared in several theatrical productions including Million Dollar Quartet at the Apollo Theatre, The Quiet Man Tales at Chicago Theatre, The History Boys with Timeline Theatre, The Water Engine with Theatre Seven, In the Curious Hold of the Demeter with Incurable Theatre.
